December 17, 2008 - Toyota is Highest Ranking Manufacturer Overall and Top in Product Quality in Industry Lift Truck Study
IRVINE, Calif., (December 17, 2008) –Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) is pleased to announce that Toyota achieved the highest ranking of any manufacturer overall and topped the Product Quality category in Modern Materials Handling’s inaugural Lift Truck Customer Satisfaction study. The results were published in the November 2008 issue and according to the publication, the survey was designed to gauge user satisfaction with the lift trucks used in manufacturing, distribution, warehousing and logistics facilities.

June 20, 2008 - Toyota Material Handling Donates to Indiana Flood Relief Efforts
COLUMBUS, Ind. -- (June 20, 2008) – Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) donated $10,000 and the use of a lift truck to the American Red Cross to assist in the flood relief efforts in the Columbus, Ind., area following last week’s devastating floods. May 5, 2008 - Toyota Adds “Green” to Two Local Columbus Parks
COLUMBUS, Ind. -- (May 5, 2008) – Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing (TIEM) and Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) joined with the Arbor Day, and Columbus Parks and Recreation to plant trees at two local Columbus parks – Lincoln Park and Noblitt Park – on May 3. April 7, 2008 – Toyota Joins with Arbor Day, Boy Scouts & Local Volunteers to Plant 100 Trees at Oso Lake Reservoir
IRVINE, Calif. -- (April 7, 2008) – Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) sponsored a tree-planting at the Oso Lake Reservoir in Rancho Santa Margarita on April 5. March 19, 2008 – Toyota to Manufacture Tow Tractors at Indiana Plant

March 6, 2008 – Toyota to Plant 20,000 Trees Through Arbor Day Foundation Partnership and Extend Commitment for 2008
IRVINE, Calif. – (Feb. 4, 2008) – Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU), through its partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, today announced that 20,000 trees – one for every 8-Series lift truck sold in 2007 – will be planted in national forests damaged by fire or other natural causes.

November 8, 2007 – Toyota TMHU and Red Cross
Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) recently donated 13 Toyota lift trucks and hand pallet trucks, as well as $25,000 to the American Red Cross for use in the relief efforts towards the Southern California wildfires.  Toyota was anxious to participate as many of the fires were in close proximity to the company’s headquarters in Irvine, Calif.  Overall, parent company Toyota and TMHU donated a combined $2 million to the Red Cross.
